FAQ

Terms, Conditions & Frequently Asked Questions

If there is a problem with your order, please, first and foremost, contact us so we can fix the problem. Holsters cannot be returned unless there is a defect. Holster purchases will not be refunded for any other reason due to each holster being customized to the buyer’s specifications. Because of the custom nature of each product all sales are final.

Our holsters come with a limited lifetime warranty regarding their integrity and function. If your holster is scratched, scuffed, or suffers minor damage during regular use and/or during training it will not be replaced under warranty. If you lose parts, screws, attachments, etc. these will not be replaced under the warranty either. If you feel there is an issue with your holster that would fall under the warranty please shoot us an email at customerservice@guerrilla-tactical.com and we will be happy to assist you.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the options they choose are the correct ones. Returns will not be accepted for options mistakenly chosen by the customer. If you have questions about your order or are unsure of how to properly order for your weapon system please email us and we would be happy to assist you. If you need corrections made to your order please contact us via email and we will do our best to make that happen for you.

Please keep in mind that every holster that comes out of our shop is custom made to the specs ordered and is made by hand. So despite the fact that we have specific holster designs your holster may vary slightly from the product image and slight alterations may be made as we see fit to ensure you get the most functional holster possible.

Our limited lifetime warranty and how it works.

We offer a limited lifetime warranty on the integrity and functionality of all of the Kydex shells we make. If you have an issue with your holster that you feel falls under the warranty please email us at customerservice@guerrilla-tactical.com with more information on the issue. We may request photos and or videos to better diagnose the problem(s) and deem whether or not your issue falls under our warranty guidelines. Guerrilla Tactical reserves the right to refuse or deny warranty claims if we deem that user error and or negligence played a part in the holster failing.

In some cases your holster may just need a repair, if this makes more sense we may opt to fix the issue rather than build you a brand new holster. This is done on a case by case basis and we will be clear in our communication with you, as the customer, on what our intentions are and how we can best get your problem solved.

After your warranty and or repair is approved we will email you a warranty/repair form, you’ll be asked to fill it out it in full and send it back with your broken holster. Once we receive both the completed form and the holster in question we will process the warranty/repair. Since the time we have your holster in house for warranty or repair means you do not have it and therefore may not be able to safely carry your gun, we try to prioritize warranty claims/repairs so that we can get you back in business as quickly as possible. Very rarely do warranty holsters or repairs take longer than 7 days to process.

What the limited lifetime warranty covers: Kydex is a strong malleable plastic that can take a beating but sometimes over time Kydex holsters can break under regular use. We back our fully back our products and use them personally to help protect ourselves and our loved ones on a daily basis. So, we want you to rest assured if there is an issue with your holster we will do what we can to get it sorted out as quickly as possible. Our limited lifetime warranty covers cracked and or broken shells that break under regular use. It does not cover negligence like leaving your holster in a vehicle on a hot summer day, or when you leave it on the ground and Gramma backs over it on her way out of your driveway. The limited lifetime warranty also does not cover the loss of hardware, we offer spare hardware kits for sale under holster attachments. Do not attempt to heat up your Kydex holster at home and make any changes on your own unless instructed by us to do so, as this will void your warranty.

Our holster exchange program and how it works.

We have rolled out a brand new program that at this time intend to be ongoing. We’re calling it the holster exchange. This program allows for the unique opportunity to upgrade to a brand new holster at a fraction of the regular price. We understand things change, whether it be your EDC firearm, personal preferences, personal aesthetic, clip options, colorways etc. but haven’t been able to justify the expense of a brand new holster. At the end of the day we want all of you to be happy, comfortable and confident with what you’re carrying everyday from us. So, no matter what reason you may have for wanting to change or upgrade your older/existing model holster all you need to do is shoot customerservice@guerrilla-tactical.com an email with your original order number and they will send you the proper form to fill out, send your old holster and the completed form into us and we will issue you a unique one time use code for 25% off your upgrade. It’s as easy as that.

What is the status of my order?

We have two statuses. “Processing” and “Completed.” Each order is custom made by hand and we work hard to stay within the agreed lead time. Please refrain from sending us emails inquiring about the status of your order if it is still within the lead time period. We understand wanting to know where your new gear is but answering such emails takes time away from building the holsters which just delays the process more.

Please take into consideration that holsters currently have up to a 4 week lead time so if you place an order for multiple items, i.e a holster and medical supplies, everything will ship together. If you would like to receive your medical supplies and or soft goods faster we suggest you place two separate orders, as the shipping fees separated out over the two orders are very similar.

Do you do rush orders?

No we do not. The majority of our orders are shipped via USPS priority shipping and will be handled in the order in which they came in.

Can I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order you can do so within the first 24 hours after your order is placed. To cancel your order, please email us at customerservice@guerrilla-tactical.com with your name, address, phone number, order number and brief reason for the cancelation. Due to the custom nature of each order we cannot guarantee the ability to cancel orders after the 24 hour grace period. However, we understand sometimes things come up, so all cancelation requests post 24 hours will be taken on a case to case basis. A 50% cancelation fee may be applied to any cancelation honored after the 24 hour grace period. It is often the case that we start production of a newly ordered holster within 24 hours, once the holster is in production, completed and or shipped we are unable to offer order cancellation even if it is within the 24 hour window.

Can I return my holster if I ordered the wrong model/color/option?

In short, no. Each order is custom made to the specs the customer chooses before check out, and it is the responsibility of each customer to verify their order is correct before placing it. Due to the customized nature of the product refunds/exchanges will not be made for orders placed incorrectly. If you have questions about a potential order, please feel free to email us first before placing the order.

Can I return merchandise?

If there is a defect or you ordered the wrong size we can offer returns or exchanges on merchandise up to 30 days from the original purchase date. Items must be unused/unworn/unwashed to be eligible for a return or an exchange. Please emails us at customerservice@guerrilla-tactical.com if you have any questions or need to request a return or exchange.

Can I return retail items?

To process a return or exchange for an in-stock item, reach out to customerservice@guerrilla-tactical.com within 30 days from purchase with your order number and we will walk you through the steps. Items must be in original , unused condition and packaging must be unopened and undamaged. On the returns of certain items a 15% restocking fee may be applicable.

Will the paint and/or cerekote on my slide be affected by the holster?

All of our holsters are made from Kydex which is a hard thermo-folding plastic. Some wear and tear will occur from the slide touching the holster when drawing and re-holstering, this is normal. Aftermarket slides which have been machined with additional serrations and/or windows can cause additional wear and tear if out of spec. We are not responsible for scratches and/or scuffs done to the paint job on your firearm.

What if my weapon system is not listed on the website?

In short, if it is not listed on our website then we do not currently make it. That being said, we are always adding to our ever growing list of options and configurations. So, if you have a special request do not hesitate to email us. We will do our best to accommodate you. Due to the custom nature of special requests there may be up charges not listed on our website, once you email us we will supply you with an accurate quote before proceeding.

Can I skip shipping and pick up my order?

No, as we do not run a storefront we do not allow others to come and pick up their orders.

I want to further customize my order beyond what your website offers, can I?

For the most part the answer is no. We have spent a lot of time creating products that we stand behind and for time and quality control we do not often stray far from the products we have listed on the website. That being said, if time allows we are happy to accommodate simple requests i.e non listed attachments etc. There may be up charges for such items.

Will my holster still retain my weapon if the light is removed?

If you purchase a holster from us made for a firearm with a light attached, the light needs to be attached in order for it to retain the weapon properly. Some customers have reported that their holster still retains the weapon without the light, however we do not recommend this as our holster are not designed to do this and by doing so the weapon may not be secure and therefore unsafe.

Do I receive shipping and tracking confirmation when my order ships?

Once your order ships an email is sent to your email address on file with a shipping notification and tracking number. Sometimes these emails end up in the spam folder, please check your spam/junk folder before emailing us asking where your order is. Thanks!

Why Doesn’t My Light Compatible Holster Have An Audible “click” When I Holster My weapon?

All of our light compatible holsters use friction retention to secure the firearm in the holster, so you will not get an audible click when holstering them. The channel blocking required to fit the light takes away the ability to add a locking retention point around the trigger guard.

Why Don’t You Ship Medical products, Holsters, Lights Internationally?

Due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) we cannot ship certain products that are currently used by the US Military or Government. Due to most of our mounting systems and some of the Kydex patterns we offer being regulated by ITAR we have decided not to allow sales of them internationally at this time. With medical supplies, certain items cannot be shipped overseas, so again, at this time we have decided not to allow international shipments to be made.

The retention system and how it works.

Each one of our holsters comes with two main points of adjustable retention. These screws work separately or together to tighten or loosen up the firearm to better suit the preference of the user. These screws are coated with an anti vibration compound that helps to keep them in place while still allowing the user the ability to adjust them accordingly. Adjustment should take place with a handheld screwdriver to fine tune the holsters retention.

Are the posted Kydex color swatches accurate?

For the most part the example color swatches representing the various colorways we offer for our Kydex holsters are very good representations of the real thing. However these are, above all else, digital representations. Sometimes the color, tone or pattern can appear slightly different. This happens in the Kydex manufacturing process itself, not in making the holster, therefore Guerrilla Tactical has no control over this.

The Olight light series and ordering holsters molded with them.

You may have noticed that we are one of the few holster companies offering options for Olight pistol light attachments. We understand that these are a very popular light among some and we strive to offer as many options as possible for all of you. That being said there are a few things you need to know about holsters which accept Olights. Many companies choose not to offer them as an option due to the fact that they have an adjustable guide rail on the light, allowing for multiple positions in which the light can be used. This is a great option for the user but for holster molding it really complicates things. For that reason THE ONLY configuration our holsters can run any of the Olight series pistol lights is all the way in the rear position with the finger switches backed up snug with the trigger guard. If you run your Olight in any other configuration our holsters WILL NOT work with your set up. Please take this into consideration before placing your order. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us beforehand. Thanks!

The Olight Baldr Mini

Over time, the obscure shape including the large clasp on the side of the Baldr mini has caused many fitment issues with our holsters. It is of utmost importance to us that your holster works flawlessly every time you draw so that you can count on it if/when you need it most. Due to the irregularities with the Baldr mini we were not able to achieve this and because of this we no longer offer the Baldr mini as a light option.

Gas pedals

None of our molds are compatible with gas pedals, often found on Sig models etc.

Compensators

All of our holsters are cut in such a way as to support threaded barrels and most compensators. Our holsters are not specifically setup for compensators but as long as your comp fits within the size and confines of the pistols slide and does not protrude or overhang your original slide dimensions it should be no problem at all.

Suppressor height sights

To make it easier on everyone and less confusing when you are selecting options for your holster we have made it so all of our holsters are made to support suppressor height sights by default. *SIGHTS TALLER THAN 0.3800″ WON’T FIT
