Quality kydex, fits my 1911 securely. It’s comfortable to wear and I like that it has the QLS attachment system. The only gripe I have is retention strap. The motion to undo the retention system isn’t quite the same as the safariland I’m used and the strap coming forward under spring tension instead of being pushed forward by the thumb (as on the safari), while effective, is not something I want to rely on. I have been able to draw faster than the spring can push the strap forward, leaving the pistol stuck in the holster. Yes that is something that can be trained through, I would still prefer the safariland style strap as that’s what I’ve trained on.

I own two of these holsters with a third on the way. GT does great work at an affordable price, and I appreciate the quality of their products.
