The TLR-7 series has been our preferred choice for compact pistol lights for awhile now, known for their easy-to-activate switches that maintain a solid grip on G19-sized handguns. Their output is more than sufficient for ranges found in typical pistol engagement.

A new addition to the TLR-7 series is the TLR-7 X, which introduces compatibility with Streamlight’s SL-B9 rechargeable battery (available separately). This rechargeable option maintains the same 500-lumen/5000-candela output but offers a slightly reduced runtime of 1 hour compared to the 1.5 hours with a CR123 battery. While the performance may seem diminished on paper, the long-term benefit of not needing to frequently replace expensive batteries makes this light a favorite choice for many users.

If you prefer to continue to use CR123A batteries, the TLR-7 X has identical specs and functionality to the TLR-7A, ensuring there are no compromises from the previous model and holster fitment remains the same.

Bright enough for any realistic defensive engagement distances, the TLR-7 line strikes the perfect balance between size, output, and reliability.

The latest evolution, the TLR-7 X, available at Guerrilla Tactical, brings a smart upgrade: multi-fuel capability. While maintaining the familiar 500-lumen, 5,000-candela performance, the TLR-7 X now supports Streamlight’s rechargeable SL-B9 battery (sold separately). With the SL-B9, you’ll get around 1 hour of runtime—slightly less than the 1.5 hours you’d get with a traditional CR123A—but the ability to recharge makes it a cost-effective and convenient choice for heavy users.

Prefer sticking with CR123A batteries? No problem—the TLR-7 X is fully backward compatible, matching the specs, functionality, and holster fit of the TLR-7A with no compromises.
